Cinderella

Cinderella at Bristol Hippodrome

Why see Cinderella?

No stranger to playing the villain, Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood dons the gown of Cinderella's Wicked Stepmother this year in Bristol Hippodrome's panto! In the great Pantomime tradition, local celeb Andy Ford stars as Buttons, alongside musical theatre and cabaret star Alison Jiear as the Fairy Godmother, Daniel Norford as Dandini and Lauren Hampton as Cinderella facing off against TV's most acerbic judge in this good old fashioned production of fairytale favourite - Cinderella!

This woman's work - The Story of Cinderella

Follow the tale of poor put-upon Cinderella, who desperately wants to escape her humdrum life and go to the Royal ball, held by the most handsome Prince Charming. However, her ugly stepsisters and wicked stepmother aren't about to let her steal their limelight. Cue the help of the lovely Fairy Godmother and Buttons the footman, who make sure that she does follow her dream - provided she gets home by midnight!

In true panto style, expect a hilarious and raucous show complete with songs, outrageous costumes, and of course, just a little bit of innuendo!

Amazing!

We went and saw Cinderella on the opening night. The sense of humour was absolutely amazing. The view we had was excellent, in the middle section of the theatre on the front row to the far right. The actors and actresses voices were amazing and Craig Revell Horwood's dancing blew us all away. I would definitely recommend seeing it if you got the chance. ... Read more
