TOTALLY BRILLIANT

Seen Joseph many times. This blew every other time out if the water. The whole cast was outstanding. The production was unbelievable. I find kids on stage ok but in small doses..these kids were sensational. Joseph was totally amazing as was Narrator and Pharoah. I’ll remember this for a long time. Well done all. Brilliant.

WONDERFUL

Very enjoyable evening. Cast brilliant , particularly narrator , Joseph and Pharaoh . Disappointed not to see Joseph singing and wearing his Technicolour Dreamcoat at the end of the show.

ALL SINGING, ALL DANCING JAZZ HANDS!

I saw Joseph many years ago and don’t remember much about it but I was not expecting that! The performances were brilliant and exhilarating. Jason Donovan was outstanding, he still got it! After they came out after their encore, they came back out and got everyone up to sing along and dance! That was like an extra show itself. That was great fun. My 14 year didn’t know the story of Joseph but he thought it was amazing and had a great time. The only negative is a technical issue, it is uncomfortably loud, my son’s ears were ringing afterwards (not good), my sister was in stalls she found it spoiled the experience. I would definitely not take young kids.

JOSEPH MANCHESTER

Why has the Producer changed this into a comedy/concert?The most beautiful end to the story is when Joseph wears his coat of many colours, this doesn’t happen.I didn’t enjoy it much prefer the original anytime. The Orchestra was brilliant .

DISAPPOINTED

I watched this production many years ago at the London Palladium. I was hoping it was going to be the same, it was more like a comedy and some of the songs had been changed. Therefore did not enjoy as much. The musical director was outstanding.

LIKE A SCHOOL PLAY

I saw Joseph many years ago and the production blew me away. While I enjoyed last night's performance it seemed very low budget and a bit tacky. There was not enough cast members, meaning many of them had to take on several roles and most of them were done by children and Alexandra Burke. The use of the children really spoilt it for me. They were very talented but made the performance very farcical. After paying over £100 for 2 tickets I felt a bit short changed. If I had know that this was how the performance was going to be I wouldn't of bought tickets

SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTED

Having watched Joseph several times before, this performance left me feeling somewhat deflated. There is no doubt that Jack Yarrow was superb and the best Joseph I have seen but the use of children in key parts of the performance wearing fake beards made it comical in a bad way. Some key sections no longer stood out and with main characters missing, replaced by children or the narrator- it just wasn’t as good. Such a shame because the music, musicians and parts of it were excellent.
